Hello to you. My name is Joell Kepka. I am married to fellow Donk's member Jim Kepka. He proposed to me on the Opry stage in September of 2007. We have two beautiful children, Madelynn and Mason. I have been a member of Donk’s Theater since November of 2003. I was born in Willingboro, N.J., and moved to Virginia with my family when I was five. I come from a big Italian family. I have two sisters and three brothers. I started singing from a very young age. At four years old, Kenny Rogers was one of my first big inspirations. I was in chorus all throughout school but was too shy to sing solo. I really started coming out of my shell around 20 years old; although I still don't like to sing in a room with just a few people in it. It absolutely kills me; but I will get on stage and sing in front of hundreds of people. My shyness just eats me up when it comes to singing but it is something that I truly love. Besides singing in a million different places, events and competitions, I have also made a professional, commercial quality demo CD with a well known producer. The tracks were cut at Bradley’s Barn Studios in Nashville, T.N. In fact, my favorite place to be besides Donk’s is in Nashville. I've been a dental assistant on and off for the last twelve years in between having my two children. I'm happy to say that I am blessed to be able to be a stay at home mom now. My children are truly my greatest accomplishments in life. God has blessed me many times over, but most of all with the gift of my family!!
