Donk's Newest Member: Christy Snyder was born and raised in Hanover, Va. She is married and has six children. She began singing at the age of five with her grandmother at church. It was at the age of 28 that her husband, Mark, convinced her to enter a contest. She won the 2009 Talent Search at Donk’s Theater and has not stopped since. She sings at Field Days of the Past, The Ashland Strawberry Faire, sang the National Anthem at Hockey Games, Baseball games and races all over the Richmond area and has recorded four albums. She spent the summer of 2005 touring the Richmond area as “Patsy Cline” for the National Diabetes Association.
In 2009, Christy fell in love with the cast and the audience at Donk’s . After singing the 2010 season at Donk’s as a guest, she was made a member in 2011 and hopes to perform at Donk’s for many years to come.
Recently she has also started a ministry along with her husband Mark, Tommy and Donna Thompson called P4E Ministries. It is their hope to share to the love of Jesus through their music and testimonies.

This will be my first featured show at Donk's theater and I am looking forward to performing for all of you. Please make plans on visiting Donk's on 30 April!! I Hope to See you there!!!
